Welcome to American Legion Post #155, also known as the Blanton-Thompson Post, located in Crystal River, Florida. Our post was named in honor of two local servicemen from World War II, First Sergeant Blanton and Air Cadet Thompson. We are proud to be a part of the Nation’s Largest Veterans Organization, representing over 2 million members. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of America's veterans, their families, our military, and our communities through our devotion to mutual helpfulness. Welcome to Nature Coast Ministries, a compassionate faith-based 501(c)3 organization dedicated to serving the community of Crystal River, Florida, and beyond. Located at 7655 West Gulf to Lake Highway, our mission is to embody the love, hope, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ through meaningful actions that enhance the quality of life for our fellow citizens, while honoring their dignity and diverse backgrounds. Since our inception in 2014, Nature Coast Ministries has been a beacon of support, providing over $2 million in no-cost dental care to veterans and individuals living below the federal poverty guidelines. Our No-Cost Dental Clinic offers comprehensive services, including evaluations, X-rays, fillings, and extractions, aimed at alleviating acute dental pain and reducing emergency room visits. We are committed to creating a direct referral program with local hospitals to streamline access to our services for those in need.
