The Global Forensic & Justice Center at FIU is a university institution located at 8285 Bryan Dairy Road in Largo, Florida, United States. As a coordinating hub for all forensic science and criminal justice efforts at FIU, our mission is to promote equitable justice through the use of science, scholarship, and service. Our institution focuses on four key areas: Academia, Industry, Technology, and International Justice, offering a wide range of opportunities for students, postdocs, faculty, practitioners, and agencies worldwide. Our initiatives bring together experts from various fields to explore the intersection of science and law, leading to groundbreaking research and programs. Some of our current projects include a free online officer safety course addressing the dangers of fentanyl and opioid drug trends, as well as investigations into incidents such as the recent hospital explosion in Gaza.

Welcome to Matthew Truesdale, MD, FACS, located at 1775 East Bay Drive, Largo, Florida 33771. As a dedicated professional at the Advanced Urology Institute, Dr. Matthew Truesdale provides exceptional and innovative urologic care, drawing on his extensive education and experience to offer the highest standard of medical service. Dr. Truesdale, a Board Certified Urologist, specializes in Robotic Surgery, Urologic Oncology, and Urinary Stone Disease. Originally from Ocala, FL, he pursued his B.A. in Psychology at Dartmouth College and enriched his education with Spanish literature and art studies at the Universidad de Barcelona, Spain. He earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where he also completed the prestigious Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship in Urologic Oncology.
