Opened in November 2011, Cone Park Branch started as a 1300 square foot temporary unit before expanding to a 10,000 square foot permanent structure in December 2013. The children's area, designed to evoke an outdoor swamp scene of old Florida, is a highlight of the branch. With a collection of 25,000 items, 18 computers, early learning touch screen computers, and public wi-fi access, Cone Park Branch serves the community with programs promoting literacy, STEAM education, job readiness, and more.
Santa Fe College Ron and Norita Davis Center
Located at 17500 Southwest Archer Road in Archer, Florida, the Santa Fe College Ron and Norita Davis Center offers a quality education for students in the southwestern part of Alachua County. Opened in Fall 2003, the Davis Center provides classes for students to earn an A.A. degree, as well as day and night GED classes and community education courses.
