"I live in Tampa and I've been doing staycations at Great Heron Inn for years. Love Teena and the staff. Rooms are clean. All rooms have kitchen, living room and seperate bedroom. Pool is always clean and water refreshing. Your right on beach. It's one of the few mom and pop places left and a little jewel. It's located near some great restaurants. The beach is not overcrowded. If your looking for a reasonably priced beach stay, the Great Heron Inn is the perfect place."
"First time at Great Heron Inn and was not disappointed! The rooms were very clean, furnishings were nice, full kitchen with everything you would need. Pool area was clean and inviting, plenty of chairs, landscaping was beautiful and the beach was beautiful. Just a very short walk to the beach! Chairs, umbrellas, beach towels provided which made it nice if you are flying. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times! We will go back soon hopefully!"
"Have stayed here for several years. Rooms are always clean and neat. The owners are amazingly friendly and then there is “ Harry” the Heron who flies in every morning for his fish that the owners save for him in their freezer. All of the “regulars” look forward to his daily visits in the morning. Great restaurants within walking distance."
"Family owned & operated the people at the Great Heron go above and beyond. Rooms are always clean, great pool & beach area. Charcoal grills. They provide beach towels, umbrellas & chairs if need be. Old school Florida. We’ve been coming here for years & we hope it stays the same for years to come. Bonus is Gelace restaurant within walking distance. Best Italian food, great service & wonderful atmosphere!"
"Super clean and amazing short walk to the beach. We’ve stayed her multiple times and each visit never disappoints. Today I realized I was missing a piece of jewelry and returned to search for it without luck. As we were leaving the parking lot the staff was yelling to us that they found it on the floor under the the bed. Even when I gave up they kept on looking. Incredible integrity and service. Customers for life!"
