"As a treating clinician based in Nevada, I am so very pleased and impressed to hear about a previous patients experience after being transferred for a higher level of care needed for POCD. This is a very rare and difficult to treat condition that is often misdiagnosed, misunderstood, or mistreated. Onyx was the fourth facility for this patient and the first to calibrate the proper psychotropic medication and counseling regimen to relieve the harmful symptoms and allow the treatment process to begin properly. I commend the staff and facility for taking the proper steps from both the ethical and clinical care stances to ensure that the patient and the family received the highest level of respect, contact, education along the way, guidance, and appropriate recommendations to make sound decisions. This is the type of treatment model that we, as providers, should all feel confident in referring to for inpatient and higher level of care with out of state programs."

"If you want accurate information about this place, do not call the number on the website. It is a number for a call center located in a different state. The people at this center gave me and several other residents I met false information. The food was good but definitely should be healthier to help with people's mental health and the gut/brain axis. The facility is clean but small. Too small for 30+ residents in my opinion. The techs are great and willing to help you and make your stay more comfortable. The rooms are nice, each one has it's own attached bathroom and TV. Some rooms are doubles, others are triples. I would recommend bringing books and other things to do to keep yourself occupied during down time. Bring a notebook without a spiral. You can bring your own toiletries but they do have soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers. They also provide towels, toilet paper, and laundry pods."
