"If you are looking for mediocre care and abuse from office staff, you should absolutely consider Pompano Beach Family Dental. After over a year of receiving care there, I have finally given up. The quality of care has been spotty and the patient service very inconsistent. I had to ask for a repeat of a cleaning some months ago and I am still waiting for some estimates promised in early 2023. But what finally did it for me was a telephone confrontation with a front office staffer when I had the audacity to ask questions on a recently received statement. I had been presented with a plan of care and asked to sign it at the beginning my last session (December 2023) then paid the amount requested at its conclusion. One month later, a statement came in the mail showing an unpaid balance; the office person I called could not explain it but became very combative and hung up on me when I asked for their name. The same day I went to the practice and received no further information. I asked that my records be emailed to me (promised by the end of the day) and asked dot talk with someone in charge (I was told that person had just stepped out and would call me back. I did not receive anything and called again. More promises and still no return. I obtained the email address (that took some serious effort too) for Dr Roth and shared my concern with him. That was 1/26/2024 and I as of 2/4/24 I have not received anything."

"I loved coming to this dental office to do my cleanings as the staff was great and the office is updated and clean. Unfortunately, I needed to get an implant and my experience went down hill. Between July 2023 - January 17 2024, I’ve paid an upwards of $1700 and have yet to get the service that I paid in full for. I’ve been to the same dentist 6 times between July and December for this implant and somehow I still have yet to receive the implant. In my July appointment, the dentist placed the screw in the site that the implant crown would go in September/October after healing but each time I went after that, there was a problem preventing me from getting the implant crown. In my last appointment in December, there was not only yet another problem but I received a chemical burn on my face and gums from the dentist and it was not at all acknowledged by the dentist during the appointment or even after I left - while there he told the dental assistant from another room to give me mouth wash for a chemical burn on my face. Luckily, the dental assistance also found that to be strange directions and also gave me Vaseline to help. I wrote an email about the incident and still, not a word from the dentist. I’m in a tough position as I’ve already paid $1700 to pompano beach family dental so I contacted my old dentist to get another opinion and he was happy to contact the pompano beach family dental office and provide guidance to the dentist. Even with all the effort I’m putting in to move on from this, the office staff at pompano beach family dental isn’t contacting me in the frequency that they should or with all the information as they’ve placed that responsibility on my old dentist, which doesn’t make sense because the dental office that I paid 1700 (pompano beach family dental) to is responsible in all capacities for my dental care. & if they intend to push my off to my old dentist then they should be contacting me for processing my refund - which has not been the case. It is now January 17 and I’ve called for the second time this week and was told I can scheduled an appointment for Feb 1 but I’d have to leave yet another message to get a call back in regards to details for a refund. This is insane. I originally switched dental offices 2.5 years ago because I moved to pompano beach, but this has been a nightmare to deal with from the cost, to the chemical burn, to the back and forth with the reception worker, to the poor continuation of care - I was hoping I could leave this all in 2023 and didn’t have to leave a review but here we are. I’m desperate to be done with this I’m happy to update this review once there is an end to this nightmare, but until then - I’ll be leaving this review up."

She did my oral cancer check, 3D scans, X-rays, pictures and cleaning. Dr. Roth provided the consultation and explained some options around teeth alignment. Already booked my next appointment."
