"Front desk staff could have been friendlier. Breakfast was just okay. The pool was nicely heated but very small, and there were no towels readily available outside. Beds were okay. Strange smell from the water in the sink and by the breakfast area for drinking. Overall I would not stay again."

"We came in late on a trip and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the hotel (we thoroughly inspected, too). The prices weren't great, but weren't the worst, and for the state we were willing to pay extra. During our stay the staff were incredibly polite and helpful even over the smallest things. The breakfast was actually really good and filling and the overall experience was probably the best had in years. Would definitely recommend and check similar hotels if travelling again. Only complaint would be the walls are thin and not all the guests are considerate of."

"Nice rooms, nice hotel Okay service I would have given it 4 stars but I kept getting a very strong smell of sulfur from the water coming out of the shower and sink when ever I would brush my teeth and or shower. No one likes the smell of “eggs” or sulfur when brushing your teeth and or showering feels like I’m not even getting clean. I don’t know if it is just my room but I would not come here again unless it’s addressed."

"We arrived around 9:45 pm after a day of delayed flights and a hectic travel experience. Ozzy checked us in, and he was very nice. The check-in process was very easy. We were able to have dinner at Cheddars, which was right next door. We were able to walk there since it was so close. It was nice not to have to drive around looking for somewhere to eat. When we finally went to our room, it was very nice. As far as amenities, I particularly loved the Dove hand soap, body wash, and lotion.The bed and blankets were super comfortable, and we had a great night sleep. The hotel was very clean and modern. Breakfast was served complimentary beginning at 6:30 AM. There were many different options, and everything was kept fresh and full. We were only in Lakland for a short time, but we had a wonderful stay. We will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area."

"This was a great place to stay. Pam, who was working the evening shift when we checked in, went above and beyond to make our welcome warm and was very kind. The pool was put to great use by my children, and the maintenance man was very helpful in answering our questions and even bringing extra towels. The staff we interacted with during our stay were the epitome of great service and kindness and left us feeling very good about staying here again in the future. Thank you!"
