With over twenty years of experience in comprehensive ophthalmology and a robust background in research, Dr. Scherer is dedicated to providing exceptional eye care to the community. Dr. Scherer holds a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York at Buffalo, graduating with Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude honors, respectively. He also earned a PhD in visual neuroscience, further enhancing his expertise in the field. His extensive training includes an internship focused on internal medicine at the Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo and a residency in ophthalmology at the prestigious University of Michigan’s W.K.
