Pensacola Youth Ballet Center, located at 9276 North Davis Highway in Pensacola, Florida, is a pre-professional program for children ages three and up, as well as adult classes and "Dance With Me". Directed by Michael Wardlaw, a former Senior Soloist with Cincinnati Ballet and Soloist with Tulsa Ballet, the center focuses on preparing students for a professional career in the arts. With a progressive syllabus, students are guided towards growth and development in all areas, including performance resume building. The center offers multiple performance opportunities throughout the year and serves as an audition hub for professional ballet summer programs. In addition to dance classes, students benefit from guest instructors, supplemental classes in theatre and music, resume building, dance history, and cross training. The center also offers opportunities for students to travel, train, and see performances of other companies. Proudly presenting the talented youth in our community, Pensacola Youth Ballet Center offers two productions each year, including The Nutcracker and an "Evening of Dance". Students also perform at the Great Gulf Coast Arts Festival and an end of year story ballet.
