"The care provided was excellent when my son was born, I would’ve rated it higher except for the fact that the staff was clueless about recognizing that my wife was in labor and my baby was born on I-4 instead of the hospital. For being a women’s center with highly trained staff you would think the clinical staff would suggest maybe walking around the hospital. I suggest the hospital train its staff in recognizing and listening to a patient that is in labor instead of relying mostly on machine telemetry. Don’t get me wrong the in hospital care was 5 Star. Sending a patient home when they are in labor is 0 stars and obviously I can’t do 2.5 stars so you get 3 out of 5. The point of my post is train your staff better or have a meeting with everyone."
