"I've been bringing my dogs to Park Heights Animal Clinic for more than twenty years. Therefore, I was concerned when I discovered Dr Valdez was no longer the veterinarian there. This past week all my concerns were washed away. On Friday, my 10 month old French Bulldog, Mia woke up acting very strange. We soon realized Mia's body was failing her. She was not going to survive if we didn't get her to a veterinarian ASAP! My husband grabbed her in his arms and headed to Park Heights, we didn't even stop to call ahead. He rushed through the doors of Park Heights and desperately said, please help her. One of the technicians grabbed Mia and took her in back. Dr Stahl immediately began examining Mia, she was having a seizure, her temperature was a 108° and rising. Dr stahl was joined by Dr Manganaro and Dr St Pierre. The doctors worked on lowing her temperature and getting her stable. At times it was touch-and-go, but the doctors never gave up. They were able to get her stable enough for us to take her to a veterinarian specialist in Gainesville. Mia is doing well, thanks to the heroic efforts from the doctors and staff at Park Heights Animal Care Clinic who would not give up on her. Their wisdom, expertise, care and compassion saved her life. There is no doubt in my mind Mia would not be here today if they had not worked so hard to save her. Thank you is not enough to express the gratitude we have for Dr Stahl, Dr Manganaro, Dr St Pierre and the staff at Park Heights Animal Care Center."
