"Edited: Rachael was a fantastic hygienist, I was so glad I met her and I had intended to continue to return for all of my future dental care visits with her. She was very friendly, quick, and skilled in her work. It's too bad she left this practice! The front desk staff are pretty quick in processing payments. They have been quite accommodating in the past, but it seems that within the last year or so they have become much less so. Maybe it's stress from issues with inadequate staffing or the previous pandemic guidelines, but I miss the kindness of years prior. Peachland dental use to be a top notch dental office. I did not see Dr. Lawson on multiple of my last visits. He was off on Fridays at one point but then one visit I had on a Thursday I also did not see him. He was not there to look at my xrays (bite wings) at the time; I had to call in 6 days later and ask if they showed anything. Thankfully they did not, but a brief phone call informing me of this would still have been much of a relief. Just as a phone call would also be appreciated when the normal hygienist who a patient had seen for years leaves the practice. Even when on an appointment reminder call, the office staff never mentioned this on multiple occasions when a hygienist I normally saw was no longer working there. A simple update about this would have been the courteous thing to do. In February of 2022, less than one month before my next scheduled 6 month cleaning, I received a letter in the mail dated a month prior (January). Not sure how it would take a month or even weeks to receive a locally posted letter. This was to inform me I was being "dismissed" from the practice. My next appointment was March 3rd. The letter stated one month from the "posted date" they would no longer see me as a patient, yet I didn't receive the letter until this time period had passed. I feel that this was intentional. I would have appreciated being informed at my next appointment- which was already set 6 months in advance. Granted my hygienist left. Again, a courteous phone call would have allowed me more time to decide on a new practice and set an appointment so I wouldn't have gone over 6 months without a routine cleaning. I am still very disappointed that a practice would drop a loyal patient after so many years. It breaks my heart a little because I really did love going here. I have the utmost trust and confidence in Dr. Lawson's work, found hygienists I loved and was comfortable with working on me, and chose to go here since I was a young adult for years as a paying out-of-pocket patient before getting dental insurance through my employer. I would like to still be able to recommend them, but I don't think they would be accepting new patients."

"The entire staff Is very welcoming and friendly. The office is run well, efficient and timely. My hygienist Rachael is a sweetheart. All fees, which are very reasonable, are discussed in advance. Dr Lawson is a very compassionate and gifted dentist. I’ve had wonderful dentists in my lifetime but he is my favorite."
