The park offers a public kayak launch, as well as kayak rentals through the Manatee Kayaking Company. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking, pavilion and amphitheater rentals, and educational programs led by Volunteer Interpretive Naturalists. With over 200,000 visitors annually, Manatee Park provides a unique opportunity to observe and learn about these fascinating marine mammals in their natural habitat. Please note that as of March 12, 2024, manatees are no longer being sighted at the park due to rising Gulf temperatures.
