With a rich background in health and wellness, Dr. DeStefano has been a dedicated member of the Fort Myers community since the early 1980s, officially settling here in 2001. Her lifelong journey in health began in middle school with a passion for running, and has since evolved into a distinguished career in integrative and functional medicine. Dr. DeStefano is a committed lifelong learner, holding a bachelor's degree in nursing and another in exercise physiology. Her academic achievements also include a Master’s (ABT) in criminology, a Master’s in public business administration, and a Master’s in nursing. She earned her doctorate in natural health and is a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, with numerous licenses and certifications from advanced practice training. To ensure she provides the most up-to-date therapies, Dr. DeStefano attends educational seminars in integrative and functional medicine twice a year.
