"This is a hard review for me. I am currently pregnant on my first and only ivf cycle because of Brown’s fertility. For that I am grateful….however, Brown’s facility and staff were a nightmare to work with. At Brown’s you are a number, they do not care about you…..they care for only the money they can get out of you. I do not have the time to sit here and tell all the horrible experiences my husband and I had but it was a ton. I was so stressed through the entire process that I almost threw the towel in at the start of injections. Sending good vibes and baby dust to everyone looking forward to future babies!!"
"I’ve been waiting 10 months for a refund that never came. I sent documentation multiple times for their office to be say they never received it, tell clients it takes 90-120 business days to issue refunds, have the patients WAIT that time only to be told they won’t honor refund because paperwork was not received. I have paper confirmation of all the paperwork they request that I sent. They DID receive it. Billing staff and billing MANAGER deny receiving it and honor refund. Crooks!! Go somewhere else."
"My experience with Brown Fertility couldn’t have been better! Dr. Fouad was so sweet the whole time. Both her and dr. Brown have a wonderful bedside manner. I would recommend them to anyone. Allie from scheduling did an amazing job lining everything up for my surgery. Overcoming a few obstacles but getting the job done. Dr. Brown and Fouad were able to reconnect both of my tubes now were just waiting to conceive. Will update when we do!"
"I came in with my husband today and the lady at the front desk was really kind, and the rest of the staff was great as well! Everyone explained all the information to us very well. The doctors I spoke with really made me feel at ease, and they really broke it down step by step to figure out our fertility issues. I would definitely recommend this clinic if you are struggling to get pregnant. Me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant for a long time, so we are hoping for the best through our fertility journey!"
"My husband and I have wanted to start a family since the day we met, but we wanted to wait to start trying until after we were married. Unfortunately, the “natural” way wasn’t working for us, clomid wasn’t either, and then the deployment put a huge damper on everything. When my husband returned from overseas, my OBGYN referred us to a fertility specialist to see if there was any other option for us. That’s how our journey with Brown Fertility started on February 9th. I met with Emily, such a super sweet lady, and she explained to me a little bit about what they do and how they do it..IUI, IVF, donor, etc.. I was scared, nervous, excited, but ready for the thought of actually getting the answers we were seeking. Emily put my mind and heart at ease that I was in the right place, that they could help us achieve our goal of becoming parents. Our next step was to meet with Dr. Brown himself, which was scheduled for a month later. My husband and I both had to take time off of work, but both figured this was an important reason to do that. We waited in Dr. Brown’s office for about 30 minutes before he finally came in to discuss with us our options and such. This visit took about 15 minutes, most of which was Dr. Brown telling me that I would be a “good fit” in the spa that they had for their patients. I was extremely flattered, but that should have been a red flag for me. Now looking back, it seems like he was more interested in the fact that I, an LMT, could make him money verses actually helping us conceive a child which was (and still is) the ultimate goal. During that meeting, we were told that Dr. Brown wanted to do a Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy, to see if there was any issues going on. So, the surgery was scheduled for April 7th, 2017. After surgery, Dr. Brown informed us that there was a little cyst that he removed and checked to see if my fallopian tubes were open. They were not. So on April 20th, 2017, we met with Kristina, an IVF nurse, to help us understand what our next step was. On May 16th, 2017, I started the birth control pills. We were doing this…we were starting our first IVF cycle. At my trial transfer on May 24th, 2017, Dr. Brown informed me that everything was clear, no obstructions, and that I would “be pregnant by the summer”. On June 10th, 2017...my 36th birthday…we started the shots part of IVF. 9 days later, June 18th, was our TRIGGER SHOT!!! We were told we had to do this 36 hours before our egg retrieval, and that we only have a five minute window to do the trigger shot. So all this means we are scheduled to do our egg retrieval at 10:45 am on June 20th, 2017. We were told to be there at 10:15 am that way they could get me back and start my IV and such. At roughly 11am, I went up to the receptionist with tears in my eyes and asked what was going on? She told me that we “actually have about a 2 hour window for the retrieval”. About 10 more minutes went by, and they finally called me back. I didn’t sign the paperwork with the anesthesiologist until 12:02pm. About 10 minutes after that they told me that it was my turn to head in. To say I was pissed would be an understatement. Our transfer day wasn’t smooth either. While on the table, the embryologist came in and questioned something to Dr. Brown, my age. Dr. Brown asked me how old I was, I told him 36, he informed me that he normally only transfers 1 egg for anyone over 35. I let him know that we were told previously BY HIM, that we would be transferring 2 eggs. He literally shrugged his shoulders and snarky replied well it only improves your percentage a little bit. *continued in picture."
