Sage Dental of Altamonte Springs

"Do not recommend this place -AT ALL. Went in for a routine annual checkup. Never in my life have I been denied a regular cleaning with my annual visit. I go to the dentist regularly and was told my teeth and gums were in great shape by many dentists. Here at Sage, they mentioned I needed a deep cleaning that would require hundreds of dollars and gave me what seemed like a laundry lists of charges. This was recommended after what seemed like a minute of review (after waiting for an hr for the dentist). They were not willing to work with me to complete the regular cleaning. Told me they cannot complete this cleaning and it cannot be done without the deep cleaning; that ALL annual appointments needed a separate appointment even though I had clearly asked for an annual with cleaning upon scheduling the appointment. All this placed cared about was money and revenue, possibly over prescribing unneeded procedures. I do not trust this practice and will not be returning. Their practices are rather deceptive. “But hey, you’re saving thousands of dollars because of insurance. This was the amount you would’ve paid.” …. right."

"First, I don't go to Sage Dental in Altamonte Springs. I go to the one in St Cloud. I absolutely admire and love the work that Dr. Malik and his assistant Nicole do for me! The front end though, for me anyway, leaves much to be desired. They didn't notify me to come in for a fitting, they are usually rude to me on the phone! Once told not to contact someone there, to contact them at the front end, to find out info. That was a joke, they never contacted me to let me know I needed to come in. This has been on going since November / December 2023. Today, went for fitting, another 2 weeks. Like I said, I love Dr. Malik and Nicole, highly recommended, other than that, you take it from there....I'm very straight forward and tell it like it is....I spoke to Dr. Malik today about it! He said he will handle it, great Dentist and person. Again, St Cloud office, not Altamonte Springs!!"

"My husband and I love coming here. They are on time and they really care for you. We like Ayesha , our hygienist, she listened and we always feel we are valued as their patient/customer, and always answers any concerns we have. Front desk are always welcoming and always smile when you arrive.."

"I came into the office today to speak to the manager regarding a concern I had with my insurance. However to my surprise I found out nothing with my insurance was taken care of last year. Maria the current Office Manager was extremly helpful and contacted my insurance right away and was able to resolve my concern and schedule an appointment for me to return and complete my dental treatment. Maria was great address my concern. Happy to have her here as the new Office Manager."

"Dr Monir is a fantastic dentist. She does great work and has a gentle, caring personality that sets all worries at ease. The assistants and front staff are incredible too. I love how they take you through everything you need to have done and give you a detailed treatment plan. I used to have a fear of dentist but the team at Sage Dental has made that a thing of the past. I can’t say enough about how great they all are and how much I would recommend them to anyone."
