Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital

"So far my friend had to wait 4 hours in the ER in acute pain and has spent all night (from 12pm until now, 7:30am) with no pain medication because “The Dr might need to do a CT scan in the morning”. No doctor has come by since yesterday. Medieval style torture. I will update if the situation improves but this is totally unacceptable. Update: 9am. Still no CT scan, no food, but they finally administered a painkiller - one that wouldn’t interfere with the scan. So why wasn’t this given earlier? There is a code of medical ethics that patients should not be left in pain. This place is scary. More updates to follow. Update! 1:22 pm still no food and finally getting an ultrasound/CAT scan. Doctor showed up 30 minutes ago, asked “why are you here??” Really? Then he asked about health insurance (my friend has good insurance) and upon hearing this said ok, let’s get you a CAT scan. Incredible. Update: poor communication between nursing staff and doctors. No food given AT ALL for nearly two days (for no reason). Extreme pain, neglect and inconpetence. If several people weren't advocating for this person and pushing the staff to do their jobs, who knows how things would have turned out. One nurse was great but overall this was a miserable experience. Cleveland clinic, get your act together."

"I was in an automobile accident and was brought to Tradition hospital. I was checked in and that was it! I waited in the hallway for six hours until someone, anyone spoke to me. They were not busy, just in effective, and I am glad I was not severely injured. My experiences with Martin Memorial and Cleveland has always been positive, but I was in both North and South in Stuart. I will Never go to this hospital again. Not even for a splinter. Beware!"

"This place should strive to do better. Nurses are very rude, not all but some. I've been hung up on many times while trying to find out how my dad is doing. Poor communication. Wrong information. I've been here several times over the years. Always a poor experience. Bad attitudes are a major problem across the board. Very sad."

"They don't deserve any stars. Horrible experience! I went to the physical therapy, and the nurse merely gave me a few simple exercises from YouTube to do on my own and left to fold some towels. And then they charged me for one visit $1,126 for 40 minutes of "skilled treatment". They don't have any equipment or specialized tools, just a bench. This place is a joke and scam."

"The Emergency Room was frustrating for sure! We were there for 4 hours and still didn't see the nurse assigned to my friend! The other nurses were pleasant when we asked for a nurse and kept saying she was busy, but she'll be here soon. It never happened. Meanwhile, my friend was in pain but didn't get pain medication until she was moved to the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor staff was very pleasant and a total contrast to the ER staff. I remember the ER being much better than this experience. Hopefully it was just a bad day and not the norm."
