"Reserved a compact car online for this location. I get there and am told they don't have any but could upgrade me to a pickup truck for same price. But deposit was more and everything had to go on one card, which I didn't have to do with the car. Outside along the fence sat about 10 compact and economy cars. And I called the facility before I even went to verify some things and still wasn't told they had no cars available."

"Made a reservation online came to the location paid for the Uber to get here. No car! The women didn’t offer to cancel the reservation nor offer to help at all. Waste of time and money. I promise you that paying even a little more is worth not dealing with the waste of time at this location."

The staff here, especially Manny and Katrina, consistently go above and beyond to provide friendly and accommodating service. Their warm welcome makes every visit a pleasure. It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel valued as a customer, and they nail it every time. Thanks to their exceptional care, I plan to continue my patronage for many years to come. Highly recommend!"

"Literally the worst treatment I've ever suffered from any customer service associate. At the Ulmerton location; my fiancé called to and spoke to a female, asking if Budget offered a free ride program which was posted on the website, she tells my fiancé that she is about to leave for the day, and that there will only be a male associate left till 6 pm for the day and she could not authorize a free ride to bring us. So, my fiancé asks if he gets there to their location before 6 pm they will have a car there for us to rent till the 10th of June, I authorize and online payment; pay the $310, uber to their location, the lobby is filled with Uber drivers leasing cars at 3 pm, 3 hours before the close; there are two people on staff behind the counter; one male who spoke broken-english, and a female who is so disrespectful, she tells us even though the reservation is in the computer and she first tried to deny that it wasn't there; then the man points out to her that the reservation is there. She tells my fiancé - we don't have a car, we can't help you and walks away as if it's just over. So, I say what does she mean she can't help us, you're telling me I just paid #310 and there's nothing. She says that we are loud and yelling! The truth was she was speaking louder than both my fiancé and I put together and she tells us in hot florida weather that we need to leave we are not allowed to be there anymore. There are cars out back and out front in the parking area and I have MS - and mobility issues, my fiancé nearly had a stroke and I nearly lost consciousness waiting for the ride back home. I spent $57.50 in uber rides without being compensated. I also, filed a report and must stress that these statements that their online system is not workable and that you must check at the specific location to ask if they have a vehicle that day is the excuse we were told by the female before she kicked us out. We responded by conveying that my fiancé did call she blatantly refused to tell us her name. I have to say the stress and the fact that we still do not have a rental because the funds have not been credited to the account. With this type of customer service response, its clear that Budget - who secures point of sales systems and maintains private information of their customers is not up to date on their security protocols or their best-practices of business operations. Worst rating, I had to give 1 star to even be able to post - normally, it would be ZERO"

"We rented a vehicle to be picked up at 12pm on Sunday. We did not realize that closing time was 12pm. I will admit, we were 5 minutes late to get to the location. When we arrived, the doors were locked and the building closed. There was an employee in there who refused to talk to us, refused to offer any explaination or help us to get a new location for our vehicle. We tried talking to him through the building and he would not make eye contact or offer suggestions about what to do. 2 other people also needed their rentals at the same time as us and were not assisted. We did contact Budget customer service and they were great. We were able to get another vehicle at an airport nearby. I do not recommend using the Largo location and will not use it in the future."
