With 30,000 acres of conservation land protected in Lee County, Conservation 20/20 is dedicated to preserving the environment and wildlife in the area. Established in 1996 through a voter referendum and reaffirmed in 2016 with overwhelming support from Lee County voters, Conservation 20/20 is overseen by the Lee County Board of County Commissioners and the Conservation Land Acquisition and Stewardship Advisory Committee (CLASAC). CLASAC meetings are open to the public, providing an opportunity for community members to get involved and learn more about conservation efforts in the area.
