James Shwayder, MD, JD is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist located at 4037 Northwest 86th Terrace in Gainesville, Florida. With a medical degree from the University of Colorado and extensive experience in the field, Dr. Shwayder is dedicated to providing exceptional gynecologic ultrasound evaluations to assist in providing the best care possible. In addition to his clinical practice, he is also an adjunct associate professor in the University of Florida Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Shwayder has a passion for teaching and has held various academic positions throughout his career, including at the University of Louisville and the University of Mississippi. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and is recognized as an expert in gynecologic ultrasound both nationally and internationally.
