The Spa at PGA National Resort

"This was my 2nd time at the spa hoping the 1st mediocre experience was a one off. The facility is just okay. I spent $800 on 2 treatments and was 100% disappointed. I had a seaweed wrap and the therapist just used a smacked and slather approach. There was no care involved in the treatment. The noise outside the room was loud and annoying. I used the showers and the drain was completely clogged -gross backup filled the floor. I had a massage and noted on my form no neck & scalp massage and the therapist didn't get the memo. I told her I have fibromyalgia so not too hard..She spent 60 minutes on just 1 shoulder. I woke up today with a fingerprint bruise on my shoulder and pain in my back. The other issue is that the relaxation area where guests relax and wait for their treatment is as loud as can be. Guests are not reminded of spa etiquette - It's like being at a pool party in Las Vegas. Don't waste your time or money here."

"I’ve come a couple of times now to the renovated PGA spa hoping my experience would improve. Unfortunately, the “renovation” failed to address the more important aspects of their spa. I recently went with my husband for a couples massage but unfortunately did not have a great experience. They have three jacuzzis-one outside, one in men’s lounge area and the third in women’s lounge area. NONE of them were in working order. As for the sauna and steam room in the women’s lounge area, those two were not working properly either. I tried asking attendants for assistance but was met with complete indifference. The other issue is that the relaxation area where one can rest and wait for their treatment is as loud as can be. Guests are not reminded of spa etiquette -you might as well be at a pool party in Las Vegas. The prices for services have increased tremendously since their renovation but to justify these prices management needs to ensure that the experience matches the price. The renovation almost seems like they ran out of money to complete it properly. To spend over $500 on services and then not even be able to enjoy the spa amenities as advertised is disappointing. I brought the issues to the attention of the front desk staff but was simply offered a complimentary spa pass to return. Stay tuned if they fix anything. Also, does anyone else think it’s weird there are only five reviews ? Someone has definitely been up to scrubbing reviews"
