"I wish they had someone with luthier experience. I wanted to learn the viola and I may be a beginner but I took the time watch YouTube videos on how to handle the instrument. The employee's there touched the bow and now it doesn't make a sound! I'm stuck with a non working Viola until my rental period is up! The employees and owner need to make an effort to understand each instrument."
"I love Chafin Music. Jeff and Sue are wonderful people, and Danny and the rest of the staff have always bent over backwards to help get me exactly what I need. I’ve been doing business with them since my family moved here in the 80’s... I’ve bought guitars, amps, band instruments, sheet music, a grand piano, and many other things from them over the years. We just rented a saxophone for our son who is starting elementary school band, and once again, they took great care of us. "Amazing neighborhood music store. Pro level repairs on brass and Woodwinds and more. Brought my Selmer Paris in to be recorked, Bill took care of it while I waited! Everyone in the store was super friendly."
"My daughter is in marching band and is pretty rough with her sax. The repair service we get from Chafin is excellent and they try to get your instrument back fast. The store itself has a nice inventory of instrument and accessories."
"Great business. Guitar Center was going to charge me an arm and a leg just to fix one tuning knob (they wouldn't replace just one with a spare part, they would only recommend that I buy a while new pack, AND charge me for installation). I went to Chafin and a man there spent 20+ minutes looking for a spare knob and when he found one, didn't even charge me. Always support your local businesses instead of a corporation."
