Gonzalez-Alvarez House
Located at 14 Saint Francis Street in St. Augustine, Florida, the Gonzalez-Alvarez House is a museum and tourist attraction that offers guided tours of one of the oldest still-standing structures in the country. The institution is also home to the SAHS Research Library, which specializes in local history, Florida colonial history, and genealogy. The Research Library's archives include maps, photographs, vertical subject files, church records, city government records, manuscript collections, circuit court records, and biographical files. Currently, the institution is raising funds for book conservation to save the Henry J. Morton Sketchbook from 1867 through an online auction of items from the library's collections.
