Welcome to the practice of Dr. Umesh Choudhry, MD, a distinguished gastroenterologist located in the heart of Oldsmar, Florida. Situated at 3180 Curlew Road, our practice has been a cornerstone of digestive health in the community since its establishment in 1998. Dr. Choudhry brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his patients, having previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida. Dr. Choudhry's journey in medicine began with a Medical Degree from the University of Delhi, India. He further honed his skills through residency training at St. Vincent Hospital in Indiana and a Gastroenterology fellowship at Wright State University in Ohio. His commitment to advancing his specialty led him to complete an Advanced Fellowship in Swallowing Disorders and Endoscopic Ultrasonography at the University of South Florida Center for Swallowing Disorders, supported by a prestigious ASGE national scholarship in 1995. This unique training places him among a select group of physicians nationwide.
