"I went here for a couple of years - I liked the integrative aspect especially - but finally realized it's all about the money, so now I've moved to a new family care doctor. The prices she charges for a basic visit are high even for a family care doctor, and you pay the same regardless of whether you see the doctor or a nurse only. Not even counting the first visit when she bit my head off for not answering a question she asked me in a way she liked. All of that was fine until the last straw that came, which echoes what another reviewer wrote below. I had to go through a medication adjustment, which required multiple visits and lab work to be done. She actually had the nerve to charge me for a "visit" to have a quick 2 minute phone call to change my medication dosage due to subpar lab results. The normal procedure with every other doctor I've seen over the years is they do not charge just to send through a new prescription, because you will have to come back to have your labs rechecked after taking the new medication for a short period of time. They also tried to double bill my insurance. This was pure greed and certainly not what I want out of a doctor. She got a lot of money out of me and my insurance, but no more going forward. She is actually going to lose out on more money in the long run due to this behavior."

"Dr. Bakus provided excellent care during my visit and the entire staff was friendly and professional. She really takes the time to understand your health complaints and explain treatment options, including holistic approaches, which is great. I received acupuncture treatment from her and felt comfortable and relaxed! The waiting room and exam rooms were also very clean - I highly recommend coming here!"

My health issues caused me to go through a variety of tests and scans. Dr. Bakus immediately comforted me, was an advocate for me to receive my scan results promptly, and went above and beyond with phone calls, sharing the results of my tests and scans way past business hours. This meant the world to me that a doctor would show such empathy for me when faced with a health scare. I am so blessed by the professional and warm relationship with Dr. Bakus.
