Dr. Omar Llaguna is a renowned institution located at 1150 North 35th Avenue in Hollywood, Florida, United States. Dr. Llaguna is a board-certified general surgeon with a specialization in complex general surgical oncology. A native of South Florida, he has an impressive educational background including a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Miami and a Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Llaguna received his Medical Degree with High Honors from Ross School of Medicine and completed his surgical internship at Maimonides Medical Center, where he was awarded Surgical Intern of the Year. After completing his general surgery residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident and received multiple awards, Dr. Llaguna went on to complete a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He is currently practicing in South Florida and is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
