Collier-Seminole State Park
Collier-Seminole State Park, located at 20200 Tamiami Trail East in Naples, Florida, is a 7,271-acre park that showcases the unique blend of temperate and tropical plant communities found in the great mangrove swamp of South Florida. Home to a variety of wildlife, including several imperiled species, the park features rare royal palm stands and extensive mangrove swamps. Visitors to Collier-Seminole State Park can explore the park's wilderness on several trails, including the Prairie Hammock Trail, Flatwoods Trail, and river trail. The park is also home to the last existing Bay City Walking Dredge, a National Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark used in the construction of the Tamiami Trail Highway.
Boca Ciega Millennium Park
Boca Ciega Millennium Park is a 186-acre park located in Seminole, Florida, accessible to the Pinellas Trail. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Boca Ciega Bay from the observation tower and explore diverse ecosystems including pine flatwoods, coastal oaks, hammock, mangrove swamp, salt marsh, bay head, and wetlands. The park is part of the "Great Florida Birding Trail" and is recognized for its use of native plants in landscaping. The park was dedicated in April 2001 and is home to a variety of wildlife and plant species. In 2007, Pleistocene age fossils were discovered in the park, providing a glimpse into its ancient history. Fossil bones of Columbian mammoth, giant sloth, saber-toothed cat, and more are now housed at the Museum of Natural History in Gainesville.

Grocery Place Campground is a peaceful retreat located in Naples, Florida, United States. Situated within the beautiful Collier-Seminole State Park, guests can enjoy a unique blend of temperate and tropical plant communities, as well as a wide variety of wildlife, including several imperiled species. Effective April 3, 2023, visitors can explore the Prairie Hammock Trail, Flatwoods Trail, and river trail, as the Royal Palm Hammock Nature Trail and Strand Swamp Trail are closed for repairs and maintenance. The park is home to one of the three original stands of royal palm in Florida, as well as the last existing Bay City Walking Dredge, a National Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark.
