"Beware of old expired oysters sold at seafood dept. They have a good deal for oysters on Fridays and I have been a regular customer for weeks. This Friday Dec.15, I bought 24 "Blue Point" oysters and when opening them in the evening, I found one dead after another. A total of 8 dead plus 4 or 5 looking "very tired". I took them back to the Jax. beach store, got a refund and the usual apologies from the manager. Then I went to the seafood station, saw there were still about a dozen "survivors", and talked to the employee who obviously did not care much. Such a health hazard is potentially very dangerous for consumers. I will keep buying there but if this happens again, I won't hesitate to bring the oysters to the FDAC."

"Best place to shop for food and eat from their daily menu of fresh and cooked foods, salads pastries, desserts. Only gave a 4 star rating because of the fact that at Whole Foods, it's really expensive to shop. Otherwise, a 5 Star would be my rating."

"It is a whole Foods... a dependable location for a source of organic produce (fresh) and dry goods. The cheese and butcher section are quite small compared to the Midwest locations. I guess the demand for meat and cheese is not so high in this area. That is a shame because there are so many great cheeses out there. There doesn't seem to be a large selection for grass-fed/grass-finished beef. The prepared foods or what you would expect from any Whole Foods... consistent and good. The quality of the staff is consistent with any other Whole Foods."
