"October 9, 2018 went to the Dollar General in Laurel Hill, Fl. at 6:05 pm. I had Googled the store to make sure it would be open. Said it would be open till 10: 00 pm. I got to the store and it was closed. This is the only big store in this area of Laurel Hill except for a Tom Thumb food store which is open. The store evidently had closed because of the hurricane headed near here. The storm is not expected to make landfall until October 10, 2018 in the late afternoon. The early closing of the store inconvenienced the whole town of Laurel Hill. I will not be going back to any Dollar General store ever, unless I have really got an emergency, so I would have to. I have been a faithful customer of that Dollar General since it opened. No longer will I be a customer of Dollar Generals. I spent over $150.00 a month there. Neber, never again."
"store was a mess. I stopped in here to buy a pair of shorts or pants for my son who had an accident in his. Took me a few minutes to find kid clothing, which wasn't much at all. Those plants lasted a month before he got a hole in between his legs, so the quality of the clothing isn't worth the cost. You can find better clothing at children's place for the same prices."
"What we do without this store going to small rural areas. Some just prefer the smaller size items too. That is how they get a lower price. It is difficult to run in & out quickly with larger Walmart type stores."
