"Horrible Customer service. My 2nd time trying to use this location with in 3 years and nothing has changed. My advise is go to The location on 66th or the airport or just any other location. Because they have no resolution for any conflict or Avis policy. They get nasty immediately. Left there and same transaction I requested for split tender was utilized with experience at the airport."

"This is the worst place you can rent a vehicle from, the manager is a girl that don’t care about her job, she always got a bad attitude, likes to argue with the customers and have no customer service skills, she got the nerve to argue with me over the phone and she race her voice to me, and that’s not all, she hang up on me. Now I understand why the have a poor rating. How the owner of the store keeps people like her working for them that have no knowledge of customer service. Ones again there’s a reason why most of the reviews are bad from this location"

"If you are renting for Uber, be aware that you will receive a filthy car, rarely do they have gas in them, washer fluid and oil change will be needed. Also, cracked windshields, broken car door handles, dead key fobs, and broken tail lights are given as a normal rental. I have been through two cars in one week and they were both a nightmare. I even missed a shift due to a broken headlight that I was told to fix on my own. You are responsible for cleaning the car when you get it as well as keeping up with maintenance out of pocket with promise of reimbursement at a later date. The More You Know type situation that has cost me more money than the Kia Forte is worth. I hope this helps someone."

"I made a reservation 2 days ago and when arrived today to pick up the car the lady in front desk, said she doesn’t have car for Uber. She have 2 VIN under the name Uber. I lose time here. And she was very rudo. Unprofessional"

"Terrible experience with the staff and rental. Prior to pickup at Largo, FL, I called Avis three separate times to confirm that someone else could be the driver. Each time, I was told it wasn't a problem. Of course, we were told this isn't the case. But this is where it gets interesting. I go out to the car they gave me and immediately noticed warning signs all over the dash regarding the engine and low oil. I spoke with front desk, who assured me the car had been checked over and it's fine. I asked about a different car and was told "If you have a problem, you can take it to Tampa to exchange (another 40 minutes away)." Car ends up blowing up with smoke. Zero oil. Management at this location tells me to fill it with oil and they'll reimburse me. (They never did). Car won't start. Zero oil. There's a massive hole in the pan. I then had to spend 2 days of my vacation driving to all of these locations to get a new car (as advised by Avis), only to get to the different city and get told they don't have a car. I ended up driving to Tampa to get a car (now on day 4 of my rental). After another day getting the run around, they give me a car that REAKS of cigar smoke... but they tell me to take it anyway. Then, they charged ME $250USD for the smell. Absolutely worst experience at 4 different Avis locations, with various departments at the call center and at the airport. Absolutely NOT worth the potential savings. For my 7 day car reservation, I only had an actual car for 1.5 days."
