"Firstly, Jim Plante, who gave the trucking school 5 stars, works at the trucking school. Why would someone who works at the school give a review? Especially when they never graduated from there. That is misleading and disingenuous on their part. is just one of the few ways that show how dishonest this school is. I had a friend that passed the course. Turns out he needed more training before getting hired on to a company. Little did he know until a friend of ours was told by the head of the trucking school and one of the other teachers that my friend should not have a CDL and that he is fit to be a commercial driver. So the friend asked them, why would you then give him the license, knowing he wasn’t ready? They said that they didn’t want to upset his mother and that once he gets hired on by someone he’ll get more training. Why would someone’s mother be the reason you put someone you feel isn’t ready on the road? People like them are why nobody likes truckers. Because schools like this are in it for the money and not for actually making sure the person is completely capable of driving a 26,001+ pound vehicle. As a matter of fact, another person in town told me that some companies avoid their school for the reasons I mentioned. Do yourself a favor and save yourself $5k and time."
