"Oh where do I start...I do not understand the 4 and 5 star reviews unless they are being paid to post them. This man, I refuse to say doctor, saw my husband for possibly 5 -10 minutes as a new patient. Did not listen to his heart, did not examine him at all, hell he barely looked up from his computer once he sat down at it. Although my husband waited way too long to finally agree to go to a doctor, the lack of professionalism was astounding. Yelling at his nursing staff, talking about other patients while in the room with us and loudly behind the front counter with his nursing staff, leaving doors open during the exam and so on. We should have left, but it took a week to get in and my husband needed to be seen. Instead of calling for bloodwork to determine what was wrong with him first, he immediately "diagnosed" him, gave him a prescription, then did bloodwork and told him to come back in two weeks. Well, I knew time was of the essence due to my husband's symptoms so once the bloodwork was in(confirmed with a phone call to the office) I scheduled a follow up that week(a week early from the original 2 weeks). I was fussed at, stating "this is not how he does things" and then told us that my husband's A1C was 12.8 and that he should be in the hospital. And when asked about the rest of his bloodwork we got "If you think this I cancer of some type it absolutely is not, just severe diabetes. You have a doctor now that is an expert on diabetes." Did he admit him? No. Did he recommend more testing? No. Did he put him on insulin? No. He put him on Glyburide and sent him on his way. Less than 3 days later my husband is in the hospital with a mini stroke and a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. The craziest thing is at the appointment after being discharged(required after the hospital stay and did not have another primary yet) he told my husband, who had already gone through hell, that he would be surprised if he lived 5 months, how excruciating this cancer is(the one he absolutely did not have mind you) and feigned emotions saying he just couldn't believe it. In the very last appointment(prescription refill only), he actually took credit for my husband being on insulin, which by the way was prescribed in the hospital, not by him. We could not get out of the office fast enough. As soon as we could get in with a new primary we did and we no longer go to him. My husband's health diagnosis would not have changed, but he could have gone without the stroke. I guess that is the only silver lining in seeing Adam Greenfield is that without his poor professionalism and his amazing God complex, my husband wouldnt have been rushed to the ER, had a 5 day stay in the hospital and we wouldn't have found out that my husband had stage 4 pancreatic cancer and would not now be on chemotherapy and have an amazing team of doctors. Do NOT let this man take care of you, go see anyone else. If you have no other choice, do NOT let him talk down to you or let him make your Healthcare choices for you. If he is yelling at his staff and talking about other patients, report him. I will say this, his staff are saints and angels for being so kind to patients and putting up with his temper tantrums."

People like that are rare and to be expected. it's not fair to Family Medical that they cannot defend themselves against such brass thugs. If I have ever had a wait, it was due to some patient that needed urgent care before us, which is also reasonable to expect. these docs are very caring and we trust them with our life."
