IHOP

"UNDERSTAFFED - POOR SERVICE - STAY AWAY! My recent visit to this IHOP was unfortunately quite disappointing. The restaurant seemed severely understaffed, leading to a long wait just to be seated. Once we were finally seated, the issues continued. Long wait to place order. Our order was not completely accurate, and the pancakes were not served hot, missing food, coffee was dull, eggs were undercooked. I asked for my pancakes to be brought out before the rest of the food comes out because they get cold just sitting there waiting for the other food, but the waitress ignored my request and brought the pancakes out with the rest of the food and LOW AND BEHOLD (THE PANCAKES WERE COLD) so I had to send them back which seemed to be a problem. Then I had to send the undercooked eggs back which they just re-cooked the same eggs and still messed up my child’s eggs because he doesn’t want cheese. Then my child’s pancakes never came and I let the waitress know its been 15 minutes since you brought the food but my child is missing there pancakes. There were only 2 waitresses to 15 people seated. People were leaving. This was ridiculous. I know Management has to know what’s happening at this location and If this is how you run your establishment you need to get a second Manager in there to help. When I went to the register to pay, there was a long wait. I briefly seen the manager finally come out to the front but the Manager looked like she was sleeping in the back. All I can say is WOW! I just didn’t feel like anyone cared about treating the customer like gold, usually I tip between $10 to $20 for a good waiter but this time I gave $0, that’s how bad it was. Manager or GM should do a better job making sure there is enough staff to service guest. To add to the frustration, our waitress did not check on us throughout the meal and only spoke to us when presenting the check. The overall service lacked friendliness and attentiveness. It's disheartening to see such a decline in service quality. IHOP needs to address the understaffing issue and ensure that employees are motivated and committed to providing excellent customer service. I hope they take steps to improve, as I cannot currently recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Have a blessed day!"

"If I could do negative stars for this location, I would. Personnel was too busy to attend to customers waiting to be seated. The host rudely said, “im off the schedule so there’s no host to seat anyone” when I asked the Spanish young lady she was nicer and sat us down. Waited over 20 minutes at out table, not once our server greeted us, nor brought drinks. When we asked her when will someone take our drinks she politely replied “give me a few minutes”. Waited again for another 10 mins then got up and left. At this point the same server in a mocking way said to us “have a good one” not a care to see us go. I work at ihop and never treated any customers this way. I know that’s not the policies and procedures of Ihop. But my mom told me it’s the way it is at that store everyday. She begged me not to go to that location and was terrified of me getting anyone’s attention as they’re always rude. The restaurant had plenty of staff and tables to seat immediately. Why we waited 20 mins to be sat it’s beyond my comprehension. Then another 30 mins in our booth and no service blows my mind! Not a greeting! Not an “I’ll be right there! I’m embarrassed as an ihop employee."

"The restaurant was short staffed when we visited yesterday, but the staff that was working made a special effort to accommodate our party of seven. They did it quickly and professionally ensuring that our wait was as short as they could make it. Once seated our server quickly took drink orders and answered questions on menu items. To say the entire staff worked together like a clock is cliche, but that is the best analogy I can provide. Our food came out fast and hot with no errors in the orders. I would gladly return the next time we're in the area."

"The staff could have done better at getting the Costumer there food on time no staff made sure we were ok while waiting so long an I had surgery a few days ago so I was really trying to get out an get some fresh air not to be waiting sitting an being forgot about smfh…"

"The sampler platter! This is one of my favorite dishes and sadly it was served slightly cold, eggs not cooked to over easy, burnt protein and hash browns not crispy at all. Service was good but it could have been better if they had more server snd not 1 running 5 tables in the morning. I didn’t want to exchange the platter due to only one server available, orders taking longer time to come out and drinks refills not on time. We can do better."
