Our rich history dates back to the late 1800s when the land was first developed by Ruric Edwin Cobb, a visionary whose legacy still resonates within our grounds. From its beginnings as a humble trailer park in the 1930s, Sandpiper has evolved into a beloved sanctuary that retains the warmth and traditions of its storied past.

As the only Episcopal Church on the island, we are a vibrant and welcoming community dedicated to worshipping God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We invite you to join us for our summer schedule of services, where we celebrate the Holy Eucharist, which remains at the heart of our worship. Our Sunday services include a single Holy Eucharist at 9:15 AM, alternating between Rite I and Rite II, as well as a 10:15 AM Holy Eucharist Rite II with music, available both in person and via live-stream on our Boxcast page. Additionally, we offer a 9:30 AM Healing Eucharist, which can also be attended in person or through our live-stream.
