"My fiance has lived here for 3 years I've been here for about a year and a 1/2 with him. They completely got rid of the office staff And all the time we've been there have we ever Not paid our rent we randomly get a phone call that the rent we paid by check earlier that month had to be paid by the end of the day are we going to be evicted Lucy what's the most rude human being try to explain to her that we never got a 3 day notice And that we had paid by check earlier that month on the 4th day waited 3 weeks to deposit the check and we didn't realize it And told We did not realize that it had not come out of our account. We could come up in 2 days and drop off money orders. Lucy called the police on my fiance and told them he harassed her I guess ur not allowed to complain about things or that's what happens. Called the new owners just as rude. After 3 years of being clean polite on time tenants this is how u r treated. They raised our rent in the middle of an active lease. And never fix any broken maintenance issues. Please don't move here you will regret it"

"We lived in this place along time ago. Years ago. Over 5-6years. We were young and at the time when our lease was up we were told all we had to do was turn in our keys. Well, that’s what we did. I can’t reme the lady that was at the front desk at the time. But she was polite at first and then rushing at the end. We asked “is there anything else we need to do” she said nope that’s all turn in your keys. That was it the last months rent was covered from the deposit. Well later I went back to get a paper filled out and nobody was in the office go figure. So when I turned around I find out there was an eviction paper..... on the door when we already moved out and turned our keys in.... how is that possible?! I called just answering machine blah blah blah and later it’s on my credit till this day it’s on my darn credit. When I have receipts of it all paid in full! Because of this apartment and this lady assuring us all we had to do was turn in our key... I can’t rent because this is affecting that. I have a medical fragile child and finding a place to rent is beyond difficult. All because of this place..."

"These apts are owned by the same company that owns Oak Trail Apts in Acadia FL. Maintenance is horrid to non existent. Roaches like crazy. They fix NOTHING unless your lease is up and you tell them you're moving. Them and only then will anything be fixed. Actually had to buy my own thermostat, then it took them 3 wks to install. Maintenance then discovered the motor on my ac was broke. Oh that noise I've been reporting for months?? Michelle in the office is VERY friendly. When I reported things needed fixed, she told me not to write them down.I was supposed to have an apt in Jacaranda, last minute, no explanation, they moved me to Oaks Trail. Don't be fooled by the rent. The utilities will kill ya. Oh yeah, in 2 years, the way to pay rent was changed 3 times. Nope ya don't pay in office. I'll add a little more to this review. Acadia is the 3rd most RACIST city in Florida. That's saying something cuz it's very small. How can a small city be 3rd most anything. Also, when I finally found another apt out of this disgraceful place mgmt agreed to pro/rate my rent for a week or so. This was agreed on advance. They still charged me LATE RENT. Even though the mgmt agreed in advance to take it out my deposit. No explanation. Just a short refund check. Don't go here unless you have no other choice. You'll be paying MORE for utilities, food and medical care than you would somewhere else. Food and medical cuz basically there's not much in Acadia to offer in that respect. Just don't rent here."
