"There is no clinic at 1620 S Seacrest. Google won't fix this."

"The treatment I received at our CareATC clinic was abysmal because they simply hire poorly trained staff. As part of my job's benefits, we have a CareATC clinic for low cost treatment. It's a great plan as a way to take care of most employee's medical needs without having to meet the high deductible of the health care plan offered. Unfortunately, our CareATC clinic is staffed with an incompetent doctor and untrained medical assistants. I have a condition that needs to be monitored; I take a little pill every day and get my finger pricked monthly. It measures the amount of medication in my system and it's never been a big deal, until CareATC. The doctor made wild adjustments to my medication, tested me the day after making dosage changes (it takes at least 48 hours to see changes), they couldn't draw blood-I was covered with bruises, they wouldn't set up a standing order for a blood draw at the lab, they wouldn't call in my prescription for 3 months, the doctor told me to decrease my meds when they needed to be increased, the medical assistant identified herself as a nurse practitioner to me on the phone, and if I asked the doctor ANYTHING, she told me I was being rude to question her. Finally, they just refused me treatment for anything, reneging on the contract they set up with my employer. If they'd said they didn't want to monitor the med level, I could see that, I was ready to go back to my old doctor anyway, but instead they have forbidden any care - no flu shots, no shingles vaccination, no yearly blood labs, etc. And I'm not the only one who has had issues with the care. A colleague was told she was bit by a brown recluse spider (she's still alive and it was just a red bump for 24 hours). If you have a business and are thinking about setting up a clinic for your business, do not trust CareATC to fulfill their part of the bargain and hire a competent staff."
