Opened in November 2011, Cone Park Branch started as a 1300 square foot temporary unit before expanding to a 10,000 square foot permanent structure in December 2013. The branch offers a variety of amenities including a community meeting room, study room, training room for local businesses, resource center, Quiet Reading Room, dedicated spaces for children and teens, and plenty of public restrooms. The children's area, designed to evoke an outdoor swamp scene of old Florida, is a highlight of the branch. With a collection of 25,000 items, 18 computers, early learning touch screen computers, and public wi-fi access, Cone Park Branch serves the community with programs promoting literacy, STEAM education, job readiness, and more.
