The center offers a variety of amenities, including a playground, dog park, pavilions for rent, and historical tours provided by the Estero Historical Society. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., while the recreation center has varying hours throughout the week. Membership to the center is available for a one-time cost of $10 per individual or $25 per family, granting access to all four large Recreation Centers in Lee County. The center also hosts events such as the Spring Yard Sale and offers opportunities for employment, such as the Summer Camp Staff positions. The property, purchased in 1998, has been open to the public since October 30, 2006, and has served as a shelter during emergencies, such as the flood waters of Tropical Storm Fay in 2008.
