"Decent place with great service. Food was not up to expectations. My steak was bland and under cooked (ordered medium rare but served extra rare). The sides, beans and mushrooms were uneventful. Add the 4th shrimp so it can be shared!!!"

"This is supposed to be fine dining. A place where I expect simple food to be made well, not the level of carelessness expected at Denny's or Metro Diner. For $130 a meal for 2 just for the food. It was insulting. Atmosphere: It was colder inside than it was outside. The music is so loud we could barely hear each other. Food: I read the complaints about the burnt taste because of how the steak is cooked by charring. It was an unpleasant burnt steak taste. I don't have an issue with that because I half expected that I wouldn't like it but others don't mind. The main issue is the rest of the food. Plain looking iceberg lettuce salad with standard dressing options. Green beans. The green beans were half yellow because how overcooked they were. I guess they were cooked for the elderly so they have no trouble chewing. Mashed potatoes. The top of the mashed potatoes was very dried suggesting that the side dishes were plated up ahead of time and sat in/under something to keep warm instead of being plated as orders came in. There was a bitter aftertaste suggesting the potatoes weren't washed properly. The shrimp were cheap and cheaply prepared. All side dishes were in metal dishes. The worst offense is the cold plates. Remember the room was also very cold. Maybe the restaurant wants diners to eat quickly before the food gets cold and to out MUCH sooner than the limited 90 min that they impose on tables of 2. The only salvaging thing was the freshly baked bread."

"The food is amazing here. The chateaubriand for two is amazing. The mash potatoes and gravy, the green beans and the cannolis are amazing! This place is a true rival in the making for Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa. This is a good place to visit - the food was better than Bern’s Steakhouse. You must visit this place if you’re looking for good filet dishes… and yes, the goat cheese dish was an amazing surprise for an appetizer. Bern’s Steakhouse offers better salad and soup to start, but this place offers better sides that melt in your mouth with your main entree. I came for a good meal and I ate one. This place is really good restaurant with food that motivates me to write this glowing review."

"For many years now I have driven by this place, it is always packed. After looking it up and seeing some reviews. I chose this for my special birthday dinner. Although I've been to many delicious fine dining places. This was one that was a little more local, never really had a seared steak like this before. Sadly very upset & left a bit disappointed. Although I felt like the burnt taste was not my style. The family really did enjoy the atmosphere and steak. I highly recommend the limoncello cake for dessert as well as the double bone-in pork chop. Ultimately you cannot I repeat cannot go wrong with the brussel sprouts for an appetizer. (Sadly I was not impressed with my steak) I would have chosen something differently."
