"Good food, good service, and it is right on the beach. Wait was about 15 minutes on a Saturday evening in January. All food and cocktails were good, particularly the shrimp and grits and the blackened octopus. Also the brussel sprouts were good."

"Was visiting family down in Florida and they recommended we come here as a group for lunch on our first day. They offer free valet which made parking easy and we were able to be seated quickly. We ate indoors as the winds were high but the atmosphere was pleasant. Our server was very quick and answered any questions we had about the menu. I ended up ordering a mango mai tai (and it was very good) and a soft shell crab sandwich from the daily specials (also equally as good and very filling). We also ordered a Caesar salad which everyone shared because it was quite large and a bread basket. Everyone was stuffed when we left and we would definitely return again!"

"Eat directly on the beach with your toes in the sand if you would like. There's also inside dining for those weirdos that come to beach but don't like sand. ;) We both had the incredible burger with pimento cheese, fried tomato, bacon, and sweet tomato jam. We agreed that it was one of the best burgers we've ever eaten! I asked for extra jam and it made it even better!"

"We arrived to Anna Maria Island and Sandbar was our 1st stop after an early morning flight from Denver. It was about 2pm local time. Everything from start to finish was lovely. Parking was no problem because of the valet. The hostess seated us inside where the views were still beautiful. Katherine was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. She knew where the oysters were from and other items on the menu. The dozen we ordered were beautiful. My husband and I grew up on the gulf coast and both wanted shrimp. He had fried shrimp, and I ordered the stuffed shrimp. We have now eaten at a few restaurants here & Sandbar has been our favorite overall. EVERYTHING on the plate was prepared with wonderful flavors and cooked perfectly. The french fries w the fried shrimp omgosh good; and the green beans, carrots, & rice with the stuffed shrimp plate yum! Highly recommend Sandbar! We will definitely be back if we visit AMI again!"
