Depot Park is a popular tourist attraction located at 874 Southeast 4th Street in Gainesville, Florida. This beautiful park features a splash pad that is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year as long as the temperature is above 70 degrees. The play area and splash pad open as close to 7AM as possible and close at sunset daily. To ensure safety, food and pets are not allowed in the play area. In the event of lightning within 10 miles of the park, the play area and splash pad close for 30 minutes. A newly installed lightning detection device provides alerts for visitors to seek shelter.
