"17 year old car I have kept in premium condition but the Florida sun finally won out. It had developed a sun faded and bleached hood and roof from sitting outside all those years. I wasn't interested in the 3000-4000 dollar estimates I was getting from the dealer and other paint shops for 2 surfaces at the age of the car. The Hyundai K1 code Bright Metallic Silver is very hard to get right because of the metal flake and tone. I took it to Brinks and told the estimator I wasn't looking for perfection as well as I didn't mind some old school masking to reduce cost. I just wanted the surfaces restored to keep the paint from checking/cracking which eventually that would become too expensive to restore. Brinks did exactly what I asked for with the understanding of the limitations. The original estimate was less than 1/2 of what I was quoted elsewhere and the final bill was 260.00 less than the estimate. Before I dropped it of for the hood and roof job I was hit from behind and the entire bumper with the crash pad and impact bar was destroyed... real heartbreaker since the car had never been hit that hard before, fortunately the responsible party was fully insured. Brinks replaced the entire rear bumper shell, matching the paint, as well as the entire underside with Hyundai dealer parts. I could not be happier with the results. Lesa is certainly no-nonsense, no-BS, no-bait and switch and I appreciated her strait-forward candor and attention to getting this job done. Now,.. if I can just convince her to completely repaint my mother's white Hyundai ;) PICTURES INCLUDED BELOW: Note that images below are after a gentle baby shampoo wash 20 or so days after the job was completed. NO POLISH OR WAX YET because of the 30+ day required paint/clear curing time. I swear I didn't glaze polish her out yet so don't crab at me!! :) It looks that good without it."
