"I've known John Stine for more than thirteen years and helped him build the Stinehardt Imports facility. Prior to opening his own shop, Stinehardt Imports, John was the Mercedes-Benz Service Advisor at Quality Imports (now ZT Motors). As such, John is probably the most knowledgeable Mercedes-Benz expert within a radius of many miles...not only on the U.S. models, but also those "Grey Market" European spec vehicles. Admittedly, these "Grey Market" Mercedes' are a dying breed, but it's nice if you own one to know of someone who can help maintain it. IMO, John is as honest as the day is long and once told me, "An honest mechanic will always have more work than he can take care of." I've known that statement to define John and the service he and his staff consistently provide."

"I do my maintenance myself on my BMW and buy all my parts here. Owner is a really nice guy and they do not price gouge. Avoid the dealers and support a local business. I will continue to buy all my parts here. Comparable to online prices and very helpful staff. Prices are reasonable if you need work done, but can't speak on the quality. I imagine it's just as good as the customer service. Place doesn't look like much, but the best places rarely do!"

"We took our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 to John and his team because the engine was loosing power and shuddering around 2,000 RPM's. John's son originally worked on the vehicle (we stayed at the shop and observed the work being done to the vehicle). The work done at that time was subpar and DID NOT fix the issue - the vehicle was still loosing power at 2,000 AND didn't drive for more than 1/4 mile before stalling out. We left the vehicle with John and requested that he personally work on the vehicle. I believe some more parts were ordered and were install correctly by John. We will be taking our vehicle back to John as long as we have an assurance that HE is the only one that works on the vehicle. His son is knowledgeable and has a good attitude but needs more experience before he (the son) is able to work on vehicles alone."
