Cuban Diaspora Film Archive
The Cuban Diaspora Film Archive (CDfA) is a groundbreaking project located at 11200 Southwest 8th Street in Miami, Florida. This institution serves as an open-access web portal dedicated to showcasing and preserving the rich history of Cuban cinema production outside of Cuba. The CDfA aims to shed light on the stories of Cuban exile filmmakers and their contributions to the cultural heritage of the Cuban diaspora. Thanks to the generous support of FIU Provost-WPHL Humanities Research Grant and various departments at Florida International University, the CDfA is able to provide a unique digital repository that documents and preserves this important aspect of Cuban film history.
