Iriana Belongie, MD, is a highly skilled doctor specializing in dermatology and dermatopathology. Originally from Havana, Cuba, Dr. Belongie received her medical education from prestigious institutions such as the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana and Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. She has received numerous awards and scholarships for her academic excellence. After completing her residency at the University of South Florida, College of Medicine, Dr. Belongie practiced general dermatology in Tennessee before joining Academic Alliance in Dermatology in 2008. She has a special interest in the dermatological manifestation of systemic diseases, photodermatosis, and genetic skin disorders. Currently, Dr. Belongie primarily focuses on dermatopathology, utilizing her expertise in both dermatology and pathology to provide accurate diagnoses for her patients.
