"Where to begin, the AVA HVAC program is the best experience I've had to date with any form of trades training. Jeff the instructor has a wealth of knowledge with a lot of personalized help to offer to his students. There's lots of hands on learning and practical application of knowledge acquired during the course. A huge advantage that this course provides is that you recieve your NATE certification by the end of the 3 months which is a leg up in the industry. I highly recommend the AVA HVAC course to anyone wanting to get into the trade."

"I absolutely love this school. I’ve looked into so many different schools and it was very hard to find a school and an instructor who would believe in me and my value in the HVAC/R industry. Jeff is that instructor who believed in me and has helped me get to where I am today. I’m able to know my value I can bring to a company and he’s connected me to so many companies that I can help add value to. I think what separates the American Vocational Academy are one, we aren’t just taught what to do in the industry and out in the field, we get hands on experience and are exposed to many things I’ve actually come across out in the field, and to add onto the hands on experience and knowing what to do, we get taught why! With that being second, knowing why is so helpful especially when a customer has questions as to what we’re doing and why. Jeff does an amazing job teaching us at such a fast rate but slow enough for us to catch on and actually understand what we do. I’ve never heard or seen a school like the AVA that offers a 3-month class that gives you the same experience as a 1-year class does. And not only that but also our certifications! I haven’t found a school that offers the Low GWP Flammable Refrigerant certification until I came across the AVA. You can get your EPA 608 certification to handle refrigerant, the Low GWP Flammable refrigerant certification and your NATE! Recieving a NATE(North American Technician Excellence) certification is HUGE! The AVA changed my life, especially since I was new to the adult world and did not have my plan! With this class I now have a steady career and connections that are there for me if I ever need help, and I have a steady income and understand saving, options for retirement like a 401K plan, and many ways to break my bad spending habits. And the last thing I’m going to add so this does not become a book, lol, is that not only am I an awesome HVAC/R technician that is experienced and is certified, I know my value and surprise, I am a female under 21 at this exact moment. Not alot of us younger people and let alone females have much success in a male dominated field because no one believes in us and most people don’t think we’re serious. We’re teenagers coming out of high school and wanting to start a career with no faith from big companies because we aren’t experienced nor certified. So if you were like me, lost, don’t have a plan that can carry you to retirement, don’t think you are worth anything, don’t feel valued nor will do much for a huge company or don’t think you have a voice, please consider this school. It’s changed my life and it can change yours."
