Nestled within the scenic surroundings of Delaware State Parks, Blue Ball Barn offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into the region's cultural and natural history. As part of the state's commitment to accessibility, we provide beach wheelchairs at no charge, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the beauty of Delaware's beaches from sunrise to sunset, all year round. Our beach wheelchair program operates daily from April 1 through October 31, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and Monday to Friday from November 1 through March 31, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lifeguards are on duty at guarded beaches from Memorial Day to Labor Day, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Additionally, Mobi-Mats are available at Cape Henlopen Main Beach during this period, providing easy access for standard wheelchairs.
