“Nice rooms. Bathroom needs a rethink. Anyone having a shower means water everywhere and makes it quite a slip risk for hours. Even having a mop you could use to make safe passage to the toilet would help. Lots of thought gon into how the room looks but how it functions appears to have been overlooked.”

“The staff and very friendly and efficient. The rooms are modern, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is clean but not very accessible. The shower is over a very deep bath with a fixed glass screen so if you have small children or anyone you're traveling with has mobility issues it could be difficult to use safely.”

“I was so tired from a day of air travel that I booked a room here last minute and I’m so glad I did. Staff were friendly, apartment was clean, great price for a room with kitchenette (it is off season). Woolworths just around the corner for a cheap meal in. Some noise from people moving about outside but nothing earplugs can’t fix. $10 car parking for peace of mind. I enjoyed my stay!”

“Best atmosphere and vibe Bed is okay, bathroom and shower are okay for the price you pay to stay here. Nothing fancy but hey they have $12 cocktails every Friday and Saturday night and a beaut restaurant. Staying here is so convenient”

“Perfect place to stay in Darwin, close to shops, supermarkets, and the mall. Great place to unwind after a fast tour up the centre. Washer and dryer in the bathroom as well as a kitchenette. Perfect for fixing a light meal and enjoying the views”

“Fabulous! The staff always on the lookout to find out more about you so they can tailor service to your needs. I never get much notice in having to be somewhere and I always have interconnecting travel. It is always complicated. Reception staff know me and they always can find a way around the dramas. Great beds, room upgrades, dark rooms made for sleep with everything you need for a cocoon until your next flight connection. Well done all of you! This is a real find, affordable AND fab!”

“I stayed overnight this week and highly recommend. The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable. I was on the ground floor with a pool view. Very clean and new. Friendly helpful staff. No noise. A quiet retreat which was perfect.”

“Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a bar area on floor p where you can sit and watch tv, gamble, or as i did, sat on the verandah and listen to the singer/ guitarist/ one man band. He was very good and the view is of palm trees. Great of a might time.”

“Great service at the restaurant/pool and in the room. We were the only people in the pool yesterday and wanted to have some lunch. The hostess from their restaurant, Together & Co, was very accommodating and brought everything out for us. Rooms are also nicely updated.”

“Even though it is an old building, it's a nice hotel located in the heart of Darwin CBD. The staff are friendly and polite and always treated me nicely. You have the option of parking your car in the street or let staff park your vehicle in their carpark at a cost ($35 per night in 2022). The rooms are spacious enough and getting looked after every day. All in all, if price is not an issue for you, indulge yourself with luxury hotel.”

“My only criticism is they won't let you dine outside for breakfast when there's a great alfresco area that they keep locked so you can't get out. I asked to sit outside several times and my request was refused on each occasion. Very disappointing as the mornings here in Darwin are gorgeous!!”

“Hi, we loved staying in the 1 bedroom apartment from 7 to 14 July. The apartment is finished to a high standard, fabulous size including balcony with amazing views and everything you need. We really appreciated the extra little things like good kitchen equipment, electric BBQ, fresh supplies on arrival and kitchen/laundry being well stocked with essential supplies. We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone. The waterfront area is a tropical oasis that has something for everyone and lots of activity, shade, restaurants and places to swim. “We loved this accommodation in Parap, a lovely part of Darwin. Instructions on how to enter the appartement were very clear. The appartement was clean, bright and big. The location of Elsey on Parap is AMAZING! On Saturday morning the famous Parap Village Market is from 8 am till 2 pm and this is where all the locals go. Then on Sunday the famous Mindil Beach Sunset Market is close by the appartement as well, which is where half of Darwin goes at sunset. And finally, a local at Darwin airport suggested we have dinner at Darwin Trailer Boat Club as it has the best sunsets in Darwin. And that happened to be a 6 minute walk from Elsey on Parap. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Darwin.”

Great pool, movie night, wonderful restaurant and cocktail bar. Highly recommend if you come to Darwin. Lots of tourist attractions to visit. A very pretty place.”
