“We have been eating at the Griff for over 30 years. We have always loved the food there. Always had great service from an efficient team and today was no exception. We were served by Ellis, a very competent waiter. The Griff has definitely begun to shine again after the trials of lockdown. Still our favourite!”

“Amazing place. Love the concept. Wouldn't work for fussy eaters so if you are picky .. simply don't go. There is no menu, the host feeds you and it's an absolute delight. It is honest food, beautiful produce and absolutely rammed with taste. Perfect portions so you don't come away feeling uncomfortably stuffed. Five courses plus bread (which is a meal in itself and heavenly). What I really loved was the fact that there were no fancy processes, no pacojets were involved with this meal (very uncommon in good establishments these days) and it was accordingly deliciously simple. Definitely a must if you love food and you find yourself in this part of the world”

“This place serves soul satisfying Mexican food. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area and hungry. There are small bites too or option take it home for lunch. Honestly great food, lovely people cute pub and a nice IPA on tap too. Tucked away in a quaint little village. Go!”

“First time at Et Grill but it won't be the last time. Normaly eat in the town centre, but for the short distance to Far Gosford St its well worth the effort. Very tasty food, with excellent friendly service. The platter for 2 was massive and would feed at least 3. What we couldn't eat was put in a doggie bag for us. £20 each, an absolute bargain.”

“One of the very best restaurants in Rugby. The staff are always polite and welcoming. The food is fantastic and there is even a wonderful cocktail bar (I think only open Fridays and Saturdays but could be wrong!) on the top floor. Already booked to go back next month.”

“We came here a large group of 20 of us. We sat on 1 long table, which was brilliant. There's a great menu with loads of choice for vegetarians. The portion sizes are large, so just be careful how much you order. The food came out fairly quickly, considering how many people were in our group. My meal was delicious and really well cooked with some nice spices.”

“Lunch The Cross Fine dining in a gastropub ⭐️ After driving in cold snowing conditions, we arrived to a lovely smiling greeting from Pavel, the general manager. We were seated next to a very cosy roaring fire, which soon warmed us up. Located in Kenilworth ,Warwickshire, The Cross is an award-winnin pub and has held a Michelin ⭐️ for over six years, along with three AA Rosettes and Top50gastropubs. The Cross is housed in a Grade II listed 19th-century inn and has a casual atmosphere with informal but attentive service. The main dining room is a former school room that leads to a cosy and welcoming bar - previously a butcher's shop. There are a choice of dining options. From a tasting menu £105pp A la Carte choose 3 courses £80pp The exceptional value 3 course lunch £45pp which we chose. Includes some delightful snacks and freshly baked sourdough. “Fantastic. Service was excellent. Really enjoyed our meal. Definitely over ordered but how could you not with such a brilliantly varied menu. The highlights for me was the soup of the day, cauliflower and blue cheese with toasted sour dough. Plus the tandoori scallops. Although slightly under seasoned, after a pinch of salt that dish was fabulous. Highly recommended this place if you are in the area. Karolina looked after us like royalty. I shall return! Ps.. “We popped in for lunch so didn't have the at-table BBQ. Our choices were good and the food was tasty, well prepared and came quickly. We watched a group enjoying the BBQ; it looked fun and we'll be back to try ourselves. Note that the location on Google Maps is wrong. I've tried changing it but they're refusing. At the moment Maps gets confused when you get nearby”

“Had a very delicious lunch at Sultan Restaurant. The Iskander kabab was very good and a must try if you are a fan of authentic Turkish food. Adana Kabab was excellent too. “We went yesterday after a long walk and the place is a true gem. The staff was very nice, we ordered the Sunday roast and the portion was surprisingly big! Everything was delicious, the meat, the veg ( maybe the broccoli slightly hard) even the stuffing was amazing and I usually never eat it! Truly recommended, I hope to come back soon! PS: the entrance is on the back and not in the main road.”

Coffee and cake or wine and three courses - you’ll love this little gem. Garden space for the summer and even a cellar to hide away in. Parking outside is 2 hours or park in New Street carpark for the evening!”
