“While on a Trafalgar vacation, my friend became quite ill on the coach. I went into sneem pharmacy for some medication to help her and was very amazed to have the pharmacist, mr. Donal keogh, offer to come to the coach to check on her. He asked us some questions and gave her some medication and advice. He sold us medication and wrote out specific directions for taking them. He went beyond the call of duty in my opinion for a pharmacist. Ours are great here in Newfoundland, Canada, but I am sure we would never get such special attention when so very sick on vacation. They have a great selection of giftware and sundries, and they will gift wrap your purchases if requested. There is a machine here to process photos as well. All-in-all this is an exceptional shop.”

“I highly recommend the new Vet Brian! I had to put down our family dog due to old age and sickness... we had been fearing this day but it was finally time. Brian checked over our dog, told us our options and then allowed us make the hard decision to put him to sleep. I couldn’t get over the compassion that Brian had. In my opinion any vet can put down a dog but it takes an excellent Vet to be compassionate and caring in such a vulnerable and sensitive situation that both our dog and us were put in today. The way that Brian explained what was going to happen it made it so easy in such a hard time. “Thank God for Carl and his team, without their expertise and dedication our dog wouldn't still be with us. Our dog came to Carl as a referral from Fionnuala at Riverview Carrigaline (who is also excellent by the way) as he just wasn't right in himself. Carl put together a comprehensive plan to identify what was wrong and although it sadly wasn't good news, he counselled us on an appropriate treatment plan which centered on my dog's quality of life and we are comfortable we have made the right decisions for him. Once the issue was identified, the team worked late to accommodate emergency, same day, surgery which my dog needed to survive (including a blood transfusion) and stayed all evening to take care of him, making sure he had everything he needed, even a meal at midnight! All the way through we have been given clear communication on exactly what is wrong, and regular phone calls with updates while my dog was in intensive care. Most importantly, we have been given options along the way with pros and cons of each to allow us to make informed decisions. It's not just Carl that's great, the entire team are lovely to work with and take great care of the animals, they have been very patient with my (many) phone calls for help and advice. Very happy with Riverview!”

“The most welconing vets i know, you can really tell they care about the animals they see. I ask alot of questions and they always help me the best way possible with patience and care, i own two rabbits which can be hard to find a good vets that know what to do with them, i had been suprised that they do everything they can to insure my rabbits are well looked after for, from the receptionist to the vet himself, pure care.
